2. A selection of mixers delivered to BDC on Thursday or Friday. Or cheap wine, if you prefer. It is a wine bistro after all.

I don't think Doc allows CHEAP wine to be served at the bistro. :?

Yes, but unfortunately not upcycled... Soylent Green is about the best use. Then you can feed them to other hippies.

Figjam;

A point, certainly, but would you invest heavily in the good stuff to create the stack of passed-out hippies for recycling?

And, after the second or third carafe, I've found no real difference between good wine and cheap wine.

Bwahahahahahaha, there are unconfirmed rumors of cheap wine being served to the Naked Bike Ride and Pub Crawl hordes. 8) Personally I had too much fun spraying their white hineys with SPF 100, so, I did not see the bottles.

But cheap beer is always welcome for Fizzball games.

And, hell yeah sir if you are going to be around on Monday you can help us load the trucks!

Sadly, that's how hippies are formed. Regular people eat ground, pink slurry saturated, soylent green contaminated with Santa Crutzfeld-Jackov infested brains...

The rest is too ugly for a family bbs.

When I consider the hotel reservations in Reno that you've shared with the community at large, coupled with how you treated a total stranger, I must say your generosity and grace exemplify the best that is Burning Man. This may be an unsettled year, but if there's more people like Dr. Pyro lighting the way, it will be a good year.
Oh great, I spent the last 13 years at TTITD trying to make everybody think I'm a dick, and only now to publicly get outted like this. Back to the ol' drawingboard.

I can't get anything by you people! I was thinking of taking one or two home with me and the rest could've been shared elsewhere.

I thought I was going to have an encounter with a fellow burner, but no:

Random stranger at grocery store: Hey, is that your car with the BRC sticker?
Me: Yes! I'm Tamarakay, so very lovely to meet you!
Him: What the hell is a barbie death camp and why would you advertise that?
me: <sigh>

Not sure who is in charge of the pancake pork out but winco sells buttermilk pancake mix bulk for $.73 per pound ( as of 2009). So put me down for 5-10 pounds pwease :) I will also bring some canned punpkin pie filling and spice to make some pumpkin pie pancakes!

Finally finished and sent in our tee shirt design entry. Trying to collaborate with someone who works opposite hours from you is annoying at best but it's finally complete.

Yes. 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Burn Day. We figure on having about six cases of champagne, two gallons of Bloody Mary mix and vodka, and enough pancake batter to feed about 250 Barbiebarians and our friends. And as you know, there's no such thing as too much bacon.

I salute the Barbie Death Camp! ... I'm a total virgin to Burning Man, but I recently was contacted by a veteran (a fellow named JR, also an Alaskan) who recommended that I swing by y'alls section of the board and say hello! He also said that Doc Pyro is the Man. In caps, just like that! No lie, a little intimidated, but then I saw a fellow I met at Shambhala in British Columbia this last summer and took it as a good sign. I'm talking about you Drucifer303. :o

Anyhoo, been browsing y'alls thread, and might I just say I support your hedonistic mission and Hail Dionysus!

Cheers!

Well, JR is certainly right. In fact, I'll be meeting up with him a week from Friday. We're going to the Giant's opening day at ATT Park, along with Blowfish and two non-burner types. Doc Pyro is the Man. I kind of like that.
