For 2012 and for the forseeable future, the Black Rock Roller Disco will be bringing the wonderful world of rollerskating to the playa. This will be year 12 and since we're always trying to build on prior years, this one looks like it could be among the best ever for the roller disco. We are raising funds to add improvements to the skating surface and to remedy the moop that was such a problem last year. We need to place the skating floor on top of a tarp that covers the playa. We also need to cover the suface with a thin layer of smooth underlayment. This will give us the best roller rink we've ever had and it will last for the next 5 years.

First off, thanks to all involved for bringing this amazing experience for so many burners for so many years. It truly is awesome.

I tried to donate, but the Kickstarter thing bothers me... I don't like joining anything on the 'net anymore. Don't you just have a way I can PayPal a small donation?
