No "Party", no Spiritual--Where?

It just looks like there are a lot of party camps, and then there's the yoga and meditation camps. I don't want to be very altered, that's just asking for trouble one way or another, and I really don't like the meditation scene, and then there's chill which might be the offspring.
So, camps that are about something else...
Suggestions?

Can pretty much assure you of a complete lack of spirituality, and that this will be no party.

Get a haircut! Barber Ella camp had a block-long line last year, this year they're doubling in size and increasing their numbers, with plans to serve up awesome hairstyles starting Tuesday. Then there's HeeBeeGeeBee Healers and other camps offering massage therapy. I've seen posts from folks looking to stage Rocky Horror Show, and understand there are a few different movie theater camps (plus the black rock bijou way the fuck out in deep playa). The folks at Undercity (gamer and rpg themed camp) will be doling out quests.

You could also go on a Black Rock Bar crawl without necessarily feeling the need to get blackout drunk. Either ask for a smaller serving, something non-alcoholic, or just take a pass. Aside from the alcohol there's a ton of great atmosphere and inspiring themes.

My gf and a campmate also had a lot of fun last year doing what they called a 'G stroll' - they started at one end of the dial and worked their way all the way around on the G street. They had a blast and saw awesome stuff, I imagine the same would be true on any given street in the city.

If you're out at night, even if you aren't into the music they're playing, I highly recommend taking a stroll up and down the 2:00 and 10:00 spikes. There's both a people-watching aspect and a technology geek aspect that really is not to be missed. Even if you can't stand the music, it's fascinating to see the effort put forth, the level of detail (or lack thereof), and the spaces that these camps put together. They often get dismissed as clubs or slagged on as 'just being a sound camp' but some of these camps really elevate the concept.

You can also find a few interesting carnival and circus themed efforts out there as well. I want to say Dark Carnival Community Cafe, but I'm not sure if they're doing any performance-type stuff at their camp, and I know there are a lot more camps of that ilk out there.
