Ya know, I have been wondering whatever happened to Madison, Wisconsin's ice boats....? I have been living here for many years now, and haven't seen a darned one! Maybe it has to do with all the algae in the lakes, or global warming, or some such thing...?
By the way, the Land Boat looks like fun! Unfortunatley, I don't think it would be legal under the current rules....
DARN! Now I want to check out the wind powered craft when I go to BM in 2005! (Of course, I am pushing for 2005's theme to be "A Winter Wonderland", so maybe the ice boats would be appropriate!
