How much walking is involved at camp?

Bikes, trikes, personal mobility and getting to/from the event - this is the place to discuss general transportation issues.

That cost me $15 last time.

Get a good headlamp, at least a 1-watt, 3-watt is better.
Watch where you're going.
Light yourself up.
You'll avoid most accidents that way.

I've driven, walked and biked out there.
I've handled explosives, flammables and fire cannon and my most serious injury has been dust in my eyes.

Biggest risks seem to be unlit people and vehicles, or falling off of stuff.
The playa will be well lit by the moon this year. Full or mostly full and up most of the night - every night.

So the goal should be to make yourself visible. Seeing to navigate will not be a problem. I won't be surprised if it's bright enough to read by the moonlight most of the night.

Lights to make you seen are the big issue.

Cheers
