Some care should be taken when buying electric bikes... Are you only using it once a year on the playa.. Buying parts and building your own will make it valuable to you.. While costing less than buying outright..
Claiming to be a total pantywaist and unable to build something is no excuses.. All the instruction and help can be gotten here on this board..
Not enough room.. Push that couch you've been doing the potato on to one side.. Bum some cardboard for a floor..
To dirty? Clean everything you collect squeaky clean before you bring it into the house..

I start my Harley and go into my town and by papers now and then , by the time im home its just getting warmed up. So I could use the electric pusher for that .

Re: making a regular bike electric
That would have been great..
This years trailer is going to be a one wheel trailer...With a two point hitch to the trike.. (google, one wheel trailer) Using a Mongoose scooter motor and frame.. Cutting away all extra frame.. Leaving the seat post as the connection to the trailer and swivel point for the wheel.. The whole trailer will be a triangle of about 24 inches.. A plywood platform on top of the triangle will hold batteries.. The motor controller can be mounted on the bottom of the platform, covered with a plastic (household dish) cover.. This set up offers shorter turning and no space between the trike and trailer.. So pedestrians do not get tangled up with the trailer..
