The beauty of this, beyond the irony of fire impacting a fire festival, is that the BORG and agencies get to test their operations plans, think on their feet and likely update operations plans. A lot depends on things along the road and Gerlach having power and the radio repeater sites operating. There is a whole supply chain that travels by road, including porto pumpings.

Burning Man Traffic around the same time as the above http://nvroads.com/511-home report, was reporting Wadsworth to Gate Road times of over five hours.Roadwork - on SR-447 in both directions in Gerlach Nevada. Emergency road work on Washoe County Road 34 with intermittent 1 to 2 hour road closures; causing major delays.

There are some meaningful gaps in BMT providing travel time tweets.
During Tuesday's pothole repairs on 34.
During the repairs with shutdowns on 447 & 34 on Thursday and Friday.
They started providing Gate to Wadsworth times on Friday, but tweets stopped early evening.
