What's the situation like on 447 this year with regards to police presence? It is going to be like 2018 with lots of people getting pulled over? Anyone have actual reports of what is happening yet?

The 2018 situation you refer to actually took place over 5 western states (Nevada, New Mexico, California, Arizona, and Utah) on all federally-managed Indian reservations and nearby land. It was a week-long crackdown on drugs, speeding, and driving under the influence of alcohol. It had nothing to do with Burning Man. I spoke at length with the Paiutes outside of Nixon and they were being hassled relentlessly. So unless the government does another crackdown (and as of this writing that has not occurred) you have nothing to worry about.

Also be aware Idaho is not 420 friendly. The state troopers stage "drug interdiction" stops using dogs. I had a bad experience going north on hwy 95 NV-OR-ID. Being near legal states, Idaho is making an effort to keep mary jane out of the state.
