Question for you Nevada area burners...
Is the rest area on westbound I-80 MM 42 near Wadsworth fully open now? (inside toilets, potable water, and RV dump)
The rest area had been closed for a couple of years due to water well issues. The NV DOT and NV 511 web sites have conflicting reports as to status, and NV DOT customer service couldn't provide me a definitive answer as to the status of the rest area. They said it was open, but couldn't address the amenities.
It's usually my last stop before heading off toward the playa. Any current information would be greatly appreciated.

NV DOT called me back today and said it is still closed.

I was there this morning and it is absolutely closed for now.
