Departing on Sunday Morning
Departing on Sunday Morning
I am planning on departing Sunday morning. You are allowed to depart at this time, correct? Also, how is the traffic on Sunday morning? Thanks!!
Louise and I depart on Sunday morning for Reno, spend the night there, then head on out to the playa bright and early Monday morning.
Or are you talking about leaving BRC on Sunday after the Man burns? I know people who have left pretty much every day of the week without being held hostage or other penalty. You don't even have to give a reason, although you may be told whatever the problems are with re-entry - On that Sunday, I'm sure you'll be in a line, though, and no one will trouble you about instructions for getting back in.
Many people bail out on Saturday after the Burn, and the departures go on continually if not continuously thereafter.

Re: Departing on Sunday Morning
Leaving BRC on Sunday seems to vary. The later it gets it seems to take longer. In 2005, I left camp at about 11:30am and was out on the road by about 12:30pm. In 2006, we left camp at 2:30pm and were on the road at 6:30pm. It took a friend 6 hours last year and I've heard rumors that it took longer in some cases.vtburner wrote:I am planning on departing Sunday morning. You are allowed to depart at this time, correct? I am the girl you will talk to and ask questions to and end up more confused than when you started.
