Maybe you can help with some knowledge.
My buddy (Don 530 321-1920, cell) just arrived to the Playa and needs some brake work.
Seems one of the brake cylinders has blown out.
I can bring parts up to him.
Do you know someone there that could do the work?
Its a 1974 GMC motorhome at 5th and G.
My email is bukzin (at) gmail.com
Thanks!

If you're a good friend that is gonna be there soon, I'd say go to an auto parts store whether you hear from anyone or not and bring him a wheel cylinder and brake shoes, and some brake fluid. And a can or two of brake cleaner. I'd say some tools too, but it's the playa, there are tools there.
There are plenty of mechanically inclined people in BRC (unfortunately not me this year) but having the parts is the biggest obstacle.

"RV repair theme camp"
I think it would be helpful to have someone else
take a look at the problems.
(Don thinks its brake fluid)
Any thoughts on how to connect with someone on the Playa
the could come have a look?
The sick coach is at 5th and G.
Is there a RV repair theme camp this year?
I will be bringing jacks and parts on Thursday.
Thanks again for all the help!

I know brake fluid itself isn't the problem, but bring him a clean fresh can of it because he'll lose a bunch in the process of replacing the wheel cylinder and he'll need to top of the master cylinder.
Brakes are ridiculously easy. Someone there will be able to help if he doesn't know what to do, but having the necessary supplies will be golden.
