I didn't see it posted on ePlaya, but it's official: the Bay Bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28th to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3rd...make your return trip contingency plans now!

This has happened in years past, of course, and hopefully they'll continue their usual track record of re-opening earlier than scheduled. Still, it's worth noting, and to plan accordingly.
