Good news for east coast Burners and those coming from Europe. Jet Blue recently announced non-stop service from JFK to Reno Tahoe International.One daily flight so may want to look into those Labor Day reservations now.

Wow, that is good news. I would love to see other airlines have some direct flights. There is really no easy way to get to Reno.

Speaking of no easy way to get to Reno.

Tuesday, I am flying from Jackson, MS to Backus, MN to place my order for my custom built 13' Scamp trailer which will be my lodging at BM this year and you almost cannot get there by air.

6 hr. flight time + 7 hr. layover time (Charlotte, NC [yes Charlotte, NC] and Minneapolis, MN) + 2 hr. rental car drive.

Shoot fire -- I have flown from Jackson, MS to London, Paris, Madrid and Tangiers in less time.

At least it is better than driving for 2 days and less expensive to boot. And, for these I am very grateful.
