Stapled Tickets.....?... REALLY ?

I can see where a serious festival ticket collector would be upset, especially with such a fine piece of work. I can also see why they staple them together. Now, can anyone thinl of an alternative? Paper clips arn't as reliable as staples. Perhaps they can attemp to staple every ticket in the upper left hand corner?

I have a better idea. Let them keep doing it their way, and if it bothers you that much, find someone on the playa that purchased one ticket (that wouldn't be stapled,) and ask them kindly to trade. Explain how you enjoy to keep tickets in excellent condition, and this is something that means a lot to you... you fucking troll! (just kidding.. just had to jump on the band wagon.)

You can expect BMOrg to be set in their ways, so it's up to you to be self reliant and find a solution to your problem.

Simple solution - when you return from the burn take the tickets to your local museum's restoration department and ask them how to repair the damage to your valued art.

Okay, I've looked over your past posts so I'm not hoping on the "troll" bandwagon, but if this part is true than you are an ass.

There are literally thousands of Burners who can't go, and you're worried about keeping a ticket so you can frame it?

That's not a work of art - that's someones dream of going to the playa that you've just yanked out from them because you're a selfish ass and wouldn't understand "respect" if it hit you over the head in broad daylight. Put that damn ticket back into the community you think you're a part of so some other person has a chance to go, to hell with your pretty little wall hanging, and next year put in for Will Call for the amount of tickets you need to get in the Gate. They won't have staples, and other than the torn stub will be pristine.

The days of buying an extra ticket to frame are over - there are more people who want to attend than there are tickets.

You show the worst kind of selfishness, the antithesis of what a Burner is.

Our tickets have numerous physical security features, unique foils, embossings, and variable data.

The staples and holes are surely a part of the variable data they profess. I'd be worried if mine aren't stapled.

Collecting art is considerably different than collecting something that's "utility".
If the whole idea is to preserve the history at a point in time, then staples are part of it.
To skew that fact can alter the very history you are trying to preserve.

A major oversight. Tickets should always be packaged in acid-free, archival comic-book pouches, delivered via sealed temperature-controlled, desiccant-packed, double-boxed certified packages to preserve their mint condition. You know, to preserve that printed "art" on the ticket.
