Gee whiz, if they're gonna do SOMETHING with those "extra" tickets, they're sure making it suspenseful. I'm on the edge of my ass.

From today's JRS, regarding those elusive "extra" tickets:
Ah well, looks like it's Craigslist at this point.As you may have read (here on the JRS, the Burning Blog, or through other news sources) the BLM issued our 2012 permit for Burning Man and increased our maximum allowable population to 60,900. We know many of you are anxious about what this may mean for tickets. While we're currently evaluating ways we may be able to release a small number of additional tickets to relieve some of the stress in our community, please understand that we cannot sell an additional quantity of tickets that will risk exceeding our allowable population cap. Happily the new permit does give us a little bit of breathing room, though. Hang tight while we work to find the sweet spot between helping more folks get out to Black Rock City and being too precariously close to going over our allowable maximum.
