The Burning Man organization is made up of a staff of over 30 employees and independent contractors who work year-round out of headquarters in San Francisco, CA and Gerlach, NV to produce the Burning Man event and to propagate Burning Man culture around the world. The organizational structure that makes this possible is as follows:
The six-member Black Rock City LLC (the Board of Directors for the Burning Man Project) is headed by Larry Harvey, and includes Harley K. DuBois, Marian Goodell, Michael Mikel, Will Roger and Crimson Rose. The LLC governs the Burning Man Board, which includes the LLC and additional invited members.

By the way, it is better to stand up on a soap box and risk being called arrogant than to just sit back and watch an entire community get fucked like it has been.
Sources say the LLC is also trying to implement a system of having those who were awarded tickets on Feb. 1 register those tickets to specific individuals before they are mailed out in June and to create a regulated aftermarket ticket exchange in order to prevent scalpers from charging more than face value. The LLC has resisted creating such a system, which many burners have suggested since the event sold out for the first time last year and scalpers gouged buyers.
