I didn't go back and read if this had happen to anyone else.
But I just got my second STEP offer for 2 tickets, but I already bought my 2 tickets through STEP weeks ago.
Is there a glitch in the system that is resending offers?
Obviously I cant buy more tickets through step???

And no I didn't enter the lottery more then once.

Only a conspiracy theory, but in the chaos of trying to sign up for STEP, I assume you clicked the link to sign up numerous times. Did you get two confirmation emails?

Or maybe catinthefunnyhat is right and the Great Timestamp is hungover today. A hangover could definitely explain this issue.

I haven't heard of this happening before, but you might want to let STEP know via the email they sent you. All we can do over here is speculate, they'll actually be able to see if there's a problem.

I’ve been lurking around this thread for months now, thinking about posting my own thoughts about this subject, but I haven’t been able to put the right words together…..until now.

MORE TICKETS COMING TO STEP!

I was in SF tonight for the Desert Art event and during the Q & A session, it was announced that BMORG would be putting more tickets into STEP.
I know the moderators will be on top of the inquiry with questions and verifications and all the rest of the blah blah blah, but in the spirit of networking, I wanted to get the news out to my STEP brothers and sisters ASAP.
Anyway, I’m sure the details will be out soon, I don’t know how many and it was just a brief statement.

Hooray for Everyone! THERE WILL BE MORE TICKETS!

Even before this, my personal opinion was that we would all get in with the new BLM numbers, but I'd be willing to bet for sure now.
BTW, it was also mentioned by some of the artists that if you really wanted tickets, you could find them if you got involved and were willing to volunteer on some of the projects that are out there (something to think about for those of you that did not make it into STEP).

Congratulations everyone that have already made it in and to the rest of us that will be getting our emails. We definnitely need to celebrate this together now and on the playa.

Ok the strangest thing just happened.....I entered STEP on the date we needed to & was violently refreshing....after I got through I got 2 confirmation emails confirming my place in the STEP queue within seconds of each other both around the same timestamp, 12.14 something or other.
Thought nothing of it at the time, prob just a bug in the system!

So, I was offered 2 tix on May 21st @ $320 & I quickly nabbed them....have the confirmation too & the money gone from the account

Now over a month later I check my email & theres ANOTHER offer from STEP telling me there's tickets available - anyone else experienced or heard of this?!?

Not even gonna click the link, just gonna let it expire....I assume seen as I bought & paid for my tix a month ago & have the confirmation then Im coolio & ready to rock, strange all the same though....perhaps the list wasnt as scrubbed as well as we thought?!?

Was thinking of mailing the tickets email address just to confirm everything is A-OK as Im a little paranoid lol

Fixed that for you.

As for the image rotation- it will show up here the same as it is on your computer. Your "picture viewer" may be rotating the image when viewed without rotating the image in the file.

Not sure what all the fuss is about time stamps.

But wanted to share that one of my fellow travelers heading to BM received a ticket through STEP on Wednesday.
So those of you without tickets just need to keep the faith (as Bon Jovi said)

Just need another 2 to come along...

Is that wood used for the necklace?

You can get stamps made for this.
You want the round face style, not the knife edged made for steel.

Northern tool has a cheap decent knife edged set, but no choice in size or type.
Good ones (usa) are made to half inch and larger, in multiple styles.
Not cheap anymore, sadly.

These are always useful for marking personal property.

so for you people who got 2 offers for a step ticket, I recieved 3 conformation emails saying i was into step/ I freaked out and contacted step through an email and they said everything was fine that I only was entered once? so im still waiting hoping Im actually in the steo line and didnt get booted off or something. I would contact step right away and make sure everything is alright. I hate to drive all the way to the playa and there was another computer error and your tickets are gone pr they say they were never purchased since you are declining your seconf offer. Just email and get things cleared up/ Cause I know if I get my tickets and then they lose them or something i'll start some shit lol
