Getting married at BM, any tips on how to organize legalities prior to ceremony?
Hi! We are planning to get married at BM this year and are a little confused about how to get our license (we live in Canada), getting our officiant permission to marry us, since she lives outside of Nevada. Would appreciate any tips from anyone who had an official BM wedding. Is there a way to get license via mail? If not, do we have to get our license at a specific county clerk's office or can we get it anywhere in Nevada? Thanks a bunch!

All the answers are there. But basically, you have to both go in person to get your license. You can do this on the way to Burning Man in Reno. You may have to come to town a day early....
Your officiant is more complex. She has to send in an application, a fee, and written proof that she is an officiant of a specific church (from that church, on its letterhead). Most online churches will sell you that letter.
none of it is hard, but all of it costs a little, and the officiant's license takes a few weeks to complete. Start now and you'll be fine.

I've got a better idea: have your "legal wedding" at a courthouse or wherever, and then have your "playa wedding" at BRC.
No need for paperwork. No need to obtain a license in person from some office in Nevada. No need to pay extra fees to whatever authority is supposed to handle all these matters. No need to transfer all that information over the border to your home country.
Nobody will know or care that you did or did not fill out the proper paperwork to legalize some marriage in two separate countries. People attend to see the marriage of two individuals in a happy ceremony. The playa will be where you said "I do" not where you signed your name on a contract.
Now if this is a matter of utmost importance to you, that's kind of straying into those costly symbolic gestures (like lavish weddings and expensive rings) that correlate with higher divorce rates. Evaluate your priorities.
