I haven't heard of anyone contracting covid as a result of attending "Not Burning Man 2020". I played it pretty safe while I was out there, with the exception of one crowded art car dance party I avoided close contact with others. Even got tested when I returned home just to be safe.

Sin City: NY nightlife never stopped. It just moved underground.

NSFW gratuitous nekedness in the article cover photo.

There’s most likely a sweet spot in hell for these cretins and their supporters :coffee:

Or maybe it’s all just a big black void :coffee:
Oh my god, it's HUGE!

I love me some Fauci, I really do, but he has to stop playing politics and stick with science.

Numbers don’t lie. 25% of the US population are minors who CANNOT get the vaccine as it is not approved for them.

So that right there kills his numbers.

Stick to the facts Tony, no more wishcasting.

I don't think it will be all that long before it's approved for children.

Assuming all of those new strains poping up all over the world don't cause a huge setback.

The article literally says
By mid- to late January, Fauci estimated, COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials will start in children.

Yes, trials will start and last how many months?

Now wouldn't that be nice for a change.

I cheated.
When there was news, and often before it was news, from following various relevant health professionals, while I had their explaining of the data, data & study relevance and potential relevance, I traced back to the studies (~95% were free, not behind paywalls - made free due to the unprecedented risk). While heeding their warning that something was/wasn't a preprint, and that anything may be thrown out as newer or more validated information came available. Nothing quite like fact based (to fuel speculation lol).

I still haven't seen a follow-up on all of the young & healthy health professionals getting Covid-19, with an exploration of any correlation between:
  • - SARS-CoV-2 aerosols found near Pt.s in airflows ~2 metres upstream and up to 6 metres downstream,
  • - ~32% of Covid-19 Pt.s presenting with diarrhea, and
  • - diarrhea droplets & aerosols having a range out to 200 metres
(max range for aerosols typically when there's explosive diarrhea that results in fecal veneers in Pt. room - sorry for that picture...).

.
That's one word I regret googling during breakfast.

Video games are giving kids unrealistic expectations on how many swords they can carry.
.
, but don't harm the red dragon that frequents the area from time to time. He and I have an agreement.

Aside from the initial listings of symptoms, I haven't seen all that much on diarrhea for a while. Where discharges occur, it'd be a perfect place for the disease to spread, especially as there aren't "masks" for it, except maybe with accidental sharts.
