Black Rock City has many departments and many seek volunteers.

Some departments in a recent 2026 BORG meetup are needing volunteers.

Camps need all their volunteer/participants of course, BRC runs on that.

You, fellow campers, first-timers are able, consider volunteering for departments. You will meet amazing people by that, I have.

I just saw a recent Jack Rabbit Speaks that said The Department of Public Works (DPW) is currently looking for volunteers who can do between 2 weeks and 9 weeks out on the Playa, coming up soon! The work is hard and the perks are good . . .
