Point 3 of the the BRC pentagram, Wednesday at 2 to 3.
Bring your own cup and BS

Duly noted. Savannah...playa date?

Well, we ARE a pair of swank broads . . .

Tempting. :)

Brian, is point 3 the one near Walk-In camping? (Does one start counting at the top of the Pentagram?)

LonesomeBri, will you be coming to the Meet & Greet? I know C.f.M. will.

I am worried that I have already promised to be too many places.

It's Burning Man, that's what you're supposed to do, right?! I''ve already got a list of things to do that I know I won't do. The only thing I can count on is my own thing, Punk Pirate Sunday, the Big Puffy Yellow 420 party (because I will get to see my SE peoples) - and the MnG, of course! Haven't missed one yet - this'll be my fifth!

I've got an Orientation, 5 shifts, 3 M&Gs, and possibly a perimeter ridealong so far.

Off: skid plate, front & rear drive shafts (only popped one cap: only one to clean and repack), exhaust, links to trans & transfercase, bellhousing bolts (top two were finger tight  ), flexplate from torque converter.
Tomorrow, pickup two bellhousing alignment dowel pins from machine shop for $48 (garage didn't put them in when they put the rebuilt engine in last fall...  ). Normal price is $5.49 each. Slide trans back, new flexplate, slip in dowels, reverse the 'off'. Then install new carb, get rotors turned, change trans filter.

That's one word I regret googling during breakfast.

, but don't harm the red dragon that frequents the area from time to time. He and I have an agreement.

Working Man for you, eh?

I've got GPE training Tuesday and a perimeter shift Saturday night with Ygmir! I'm excited. I'm debating the Rangering, this year. I feel...I feel it not so much. Burnt out on volunteering from regionals. But I sure do like that staff ticket, it's the only reason I've been able to go last year and this one. I only have the one MnG....you crazy kids are the only ones wanting to meet me!

Point 3 is the point at the top of the fence pentagram, as far as I know, straight out from 12oclock. Center Camp, the Man, the Temple, then point 3.
I hardly ever know where I am or what time it is so making the m&g was a stretch, but then I talked it over with littlebird, and we might show up stag, if the mighty John Frum provides. You gotta believe I'm stocking the front of my camp with some wooden planes to help bring in the goods.

Repeatedly checking the playa weather. Today the wind got up to 42 mph. That's a bitch of a wind.

No time. There's no time.

I can't even leave work early. Shit's hitting the fan.

Doom. Doom to all.

Actually bags are packed except for the super giant purse I use only for burning man that takes the balance of my clothes. Have to box up lion tonight. Just one more small piece to sew on. My flight is tomorrow evening. My mind can't wrap itself around the fact that in three days I'll be on the playa.

I have a DPW friend posting updates on her FB...

Today's item: call the airline and see if it's too late to get a refund on my ticket, as I've heard nothing from ticket support about whether my ticket is at will call or not. Then cry and cry and hate my life even more than I usually do.

"Staff" being the word for "reduced price," I'm not fancy or anything - and the higher-up I knew to contact emailed ticket support, too. Found a number for the office in Gerlach, maybe?

At first look, I thought the barn/garage/structure in the back was some how in your truck and I thought "WOW, Fig really did bring ALL THE THINGS"

My one item... I made more crafty things last night.

Not directly Bman related, but I squared away a huge chunk of a bid I have to finish before leaving for BRC.

Lord almighty, don't think I haven't run through a gajillion safety scenarios to prevent the Great Wallet Loss of Aught 12 fiasco. :(

My friend came over and told me I need to just stop. I was in the middle of starting to make a Ranger coat, from scratch (I want to try a grave shift and need cold weather stuff). STOP, she said. Stop right now.

So, that is my goal. STOP!

...and remember to print out my EA.

First leg complete, the only missing item discovered so far is my iPod. Turns out it's sitting on the kitchen counter at home. On the plus side the lovely couple I had dinner with in OH have lovely parting gifts for me among which were about 10 CD's of road music, a neat utility 1000-1 tool and a great dinner to boot.

The registration arrived at home today a copy of which will be waiting for me in Denver.

The left rear brake light sensor triggered again, it turns out the idiot who replaced it a week or two ago didn't seat it properly. I gave myself a well-deserved slap on the back of the head.

In one sense it felt good in another it hurt like hell.
