Added a large bottle of Fireball
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

* Melatonin
* Extra tent stakes
* 8 pack of aluminum LED flashlights
* GOOP Marine adhesive (they were out of the "Outdoor" variety, but this will be just as good)

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day
Picked up meds at pharmacy and filled 2 one week pillboxes.
Decided to bring a dozen steel fence posts to secure shelter, the kind farmers use to build barbed wire fences. On the pile in the yard. Rubber boots on the pile. Will carry plastic bags to cover feet, in case it rains in next 2 weeks. In the "Mandatory" exploring bag that Halcion suggests in Video #15. Maybe a poop bucket and kitty litter. We might get stuck this year.
Everyday carry in camelback/bag: water bottle, cup, spoon, bandana, goggles, hat, sunscreen, lip balm, light rain coat/ windbreaker or army surplus poncho, cash for ice, flashlight, snacks, woobie, towel, ID, CDL, pencil/paper, extra I ply TP(can you spare a square?), moop kit(grabber stick), and garbage bags large/ small. Will carry on golf cart or mobility chair in my yellow bucket.
Definitely bringing army cot for sleeping off the ground.
Definitely !

Packed most of the clothing!
Tossed the heavy bulky stuff into the vehicle - and since we've taken the seats out, we have SO MUCH SPACE (which I promise not to squander).
SO. MUCH. SPACE.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day
Yesterday was busy, but needed to be... SO MUCH TO DO! I got a bike box project for my gf mostly finished, finished up making handles for this year's rubber stamp bar additions and got the stamps done and dusted, the shirts my campmates and I had ordered for ourselves came in, got a special funky thermostat deal that we'll need to manage the chest freezer, picked up some solar lights to mark our driveway at night, and FINALLY got what I needed to done on a stack of design projects that's been simmering on the back burner for months. I was afraid it was going to sail off onto the island of ideas that didn't get done, but hooray for perseverance.

Ordered tarp for a monkey hut and started prepping cold weather gear and rain gear.

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day
ordered an extended run tank for the honda genny and sending the gf to retrieve it from the burbs.
waffled for a while, but i dont have time for yet another last minute project, and it seeems like it will be safer for the genny (ie: less chance of getting dust in the fuel line refilling every day)
plus it will let us run the thing for pretty much the duration of our regional, lakes of fire.

Heading to The Netherlands tomorrow for a reunion party before doing the final packing for Burning Man. I'll be experiencing six days of wind and cold rain in preparation for the Playa

Ha, I figured it was supposed to be read that way, because I certainly did....
Finished the lighting on my coat. First time sewing EL wire to anything and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

The playa isn't "home" to anything or anyone, it's not magic, it's just a goddamm camping trip. A really awesome one. -Captain Goddammit

Finished my memorial for my late wife for posting in the Temple. And picked up a bottle of Deep Eddy Sweet Tea vodka to have a couple of snorts in her memory.
Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day
Very sweet, TexasRick. I'm sorry for your loss.
In an unrelated story, I'm wearing a black dress, so this seems like the perfect night to dig into my overstuffed Burn closet and dig out some bins.

Last of my boxes is on it's way to Reno. Ribbon for my ill advised gift wrapping station came in. It's just down to packing the bags now and finalizing my Reno lists and plans. Not bad.
Also, my monthly shipment of cramps arrived yesterday. Normally I don't look forward to it, but the timing works pretty well for me.

When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

It's probably for the best. It might make for an awkward M&G one year.
