I wish I could find...........

once, out in the desert, I got a shot of a circle rainbow.
the sun was almost set, and it was raining about 10 miles away, and the rainbow was a perfect circle within.

That shots from a photographer named Neil Girling, known as The Blight, who's a member of Fandango and an outstanding documentarian. He has lots of fabulous Burn shots. Truly an amazing photographer!

That's pretty rare. You usually only see that from a plane. (but any double rainbow is pretty rare, I guess, considering i never before saw one until Burning Man.

We're camped on playa 3 miles north of BRC and had rain, hail and rainbows just before sunset last night (friday). It was enough to puddle but ok to drive on by this am.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I'm thinking as a self-respecting Newfie, I really should bring some rubber boots this year.

No worries. He would be barefoot after two steps anyway -- after walking right out of the glued-down boots.

And so the planning and design phase begins... the Air Yacht... searching for used dirigible parts now...

Elliot, that extra two feet of roof elevation on Millicent may come in handy for reasons you never imagined!

Holy crap. Remind me never to go there. Actually, don't bother; I still have PTSD from 5 consecutive years of attending Lollapalooza (2005 - 2009) when I lived in Chicago and watching it devolve into a hell hole of scenesters who have no interest in music.

And she should know, folks, for she was co-piloting the Dauntless Dirigible in that photo. Good times, even off Playa.
