I'm figuring out how to make the table and shelf unit for the borrowed tent trailer. It seemed so simple in my head, but the darn thing doesn't want to behave in real life. Plus, it's over 100 and sunny here in Tucson, so I'm wilting while working on it.
If I'm lucky, I'll abandon the project.

I have injured my back and I can't do much. I vow to try to sit on the floor of my bedroom and sort/pack my clothes. I took my son for a haircut today and that was about all I could do while walking/standing. Terrible timing. I am quite sad.

Finished shopping except for six or so items. Sitting at bar having dinner. Will finish shopping tonight. Lion made it with some minor damage. Might get late start tomorrow as I repair him.

Power washed all my tarps, coolers and chairs today. More power washing on the agenda for tomorrow. Hope all my Burning Man gear will be cleaned and stored by the end of the weekend. Only 361 days until the Man burns!

Inventoried everything used, even trash. Made list for next year. Caught in heavy rain on Hi-way 20 past Donner Summit. nature washed car and gear on trailer. I only used less than 2 gas cans (10 gal.) for entire week of giving buggy rides, 100+ missions. Resolved to replace geo metro as towing vehicle next year, looking for pickup with camper or van...

This is the correct thread. I'm removing items slowly from my van. More than one item a day, but it will still take forever before I can go to work without wearing a rubber suit.

I'm gonna look for a boat trailer to build another playapod on.
With the longer tongue, I'm thinking it will look like the space shuttle without the wings.
The pointy nose will cut through the wind and will be used for storage space with big hatches for easy access.

The only things I wanted and didn't have: cast iron skillet and a whisk.

Cleaned everything. Tent, tarp, clothes, luggage. About two months ahead of last year's schedule. Everything except my boots. Somehow my ugly-ass boots that I was devising ways to pretty up on the playa have become oddly sexy (to me at least) in a dust free world.
