Sarongs are tired, wings are tired...I'm still making both for this year. One pair of dragonfly wings and another pair of butterfly type wings...5 foot wingspan, el-wire lit...as long as I like 'em so what. Wings are "tired" because everyone makes them look the same. Bleech. Get creative and go make some funky, cool looking wings!

Getting back on topic and excluding aluminum frames, what materials do people use to make the outer frames for their wings? I'm trying #4 Copper wire right now but before I get too deep into this I was wondering what people use?
A second question would be are there any preferred fabric choices for covering the wings? And last...how do you attach the fabric to the wings? Do you sew it, glue it, make the cloth into a sleeve and slide it over the wing? If nobody knows I'll just experiment and get the answers that way...but I thought I'd ask first and maybe save some time.
