Two q's . Playa nick names? Virgin hazing?

Hi ya Dave! The bell stations are really, really heavy and hard to move. (They were rebuilt a couple of years ago and would now withstand the apocalypse) If people really want to be de-virginized during a big rush at Greeter's, they can pull up by the portos and come back to ring the bell and be as dustified as they would like. I don't ever remember anybody purposely hiding the bell strikers - even during the worst of the crush, but they do tend to wander away in the hand of a newb.

So, stuck with Mark. Unless teardropper will do it. And that I chose because no one else had it and I couldn't think of anything else. Really hoping for something a little more dramatic or cool. As the meatballs are always saying, "The playa provides..." Well, I was hoping for some thing different. But, then again, people don' t always like the playa name given them. It could be worse.

Then again, maybe this year I'll do something legendary, in a good way, not like the 'legendary' stuff I do that someone has to tell me about, or worse, videotaped (or is that infamous?). Anyway, for all those virgins, or others without a playa name, take heart. It doesn't always happen. At least in a decent time frame...

So, till further notice, or till some thing actually cool happens, when you see me, it'll be 'Mark".

I want the people I camped with last year (and will camp with again this year) to give me one, but we'll see. I have the (mis)fortune of having a somewhat unusual name, so no one wanted to give me anything else. The same fate has befallen one of my campmates - Phoenix. Why mess with such a pretty given name?

Someone tried to name me last year, but it was unanimously vetoed. Ah well.

I have many times and did last year but I go where I am needed. Will know some time in June what shifts I am going to take. Most Greeters will be happy to steal your virginity (and your shorts if you aren't careful).
