Because they're boring, lame, and frankly don't work.

I think you're being a bit hard on those Lamplighters. Sure, some can be boring lame and lazy, but it's not fair to paint them all with the same broad brush.
Context: It's what's for dinner. Don't misquote me. You know damn well I was talking about the solar lamps not the lamplighters. :P

Arrrggg!! Avast ye fucking fluffy bunny shirtcockers! Haul your drunken hairy fat ass out of our sight or prepare to receive a hot buttered hedgehog fired up your aft quarters!

Honey Badger don't care. Honey Badger don't give a shit!

That number may make it seem like they take 30% new peeps each year via questionaire. It just ain't so....but for good reason.

Gate, now...we will take a lot of new people each year. And Exodus is perenially in need of people that can stay late.

Good point - we dont take a whole lot of new faces with ESD either, and when we do, they have usually been camping with us for some time. 30% new probably means they are now formally members.

Yes, as I re-read the posting, I can see the error of my ways. I'm just having a little lamplighter fun here. The group adds a lot of character to the city, as well as a great service of lighting the streets for everyone.
