Touched base with all the campmates coming from afar, everybody's prep is coming along. A few excited/nervous playa dreams, but otherwise a pretty excited team! We got the carnitas vac-sealed and I got more bins packed up. A bit more to do tonight...

Spacetime that is great. I have all kinds of stuff written all over my bike. Including my name inside the fenders and scratched on the frame, basket etc...Don't forget to put your playa address on the bike. A big piece of tape with a sharpie will get it. If your bike goes for a joy ride give it a chance to be returned.

Well, back to Plan A.

The shop says my limo will be done Monday or Tuesday. New AC compressor, new hoses, belts, lines, coolant flush and refill replace or check all fluids. Engine ok, water pump ok, power steering ok. I got a new whitewall delivered. Spare will go in trunk when new one mounted ( new rubber all around.) I'll wait till after the burn to have vinyl replaced and rust repair done. Needs some new trim pieces, etc... to make it good. So, I don't have to borrow Darleen's pickup. Before I bought the car, someone ripped out the radio/ cd/ vcr out of the back. But we've got BMIR on FM.

Scored a Workman's tricycle for 60 bucks. The kind that has a folding frame. I t only has 20" tires, so I'm putting 26" on the back two tires. I need a longer fork and gooseneck for the front wheel. I might take one off of my 1968 Schwinn for a replacement. Tires are low but hold air. Parents of disabled son said he was not able to use it: it was in the garage for over a year... No golf cart this year.

I'll bring my Huffy cruser bike also, and attempt to ride it. My gout is much better. One is none, two is one.

I found a nice clean reflectix bag behind my apartment, big enough for a small cooler cozy, I think. I got a new bike seat, floor mats for my car, 2 lbs of atomic fireballs, and a memory card for my music player. I shouldn't post what I need to do tomorrow, since I never do it anyway. Company is coming into town, so I WILL make a clear path to the bathroom through the gear. I was going to start packing the car day by day with temperature friendly items so the clutter could go slowly, but our parking area had a window smashing and theft recently and it put the kibosh on that plan for me.

Yesterday was my last day of official "work", so I am covered in shit-to-do. I am self-employed, so my moron boss gave me til October to get back to work. Kitchen counter is covered in various bike parts/lights. Another counter covered in wearable lighting projects. Will start to load the camper tomorrow. Shit, this just might work!
