That would be a hoot. And I could see someone taking it up a notch, the whole bigger, better, thing.

After being sick & unproductive last week, I kicked it back into gear over the weekend. I re-attacked the foam hair falls project & was finally successful! Also finished re-vamping an old costume dress by taking off the back zipper & putting in a lace-up style back and cutting 6 inches off of the bottom hem. And tonight I repaired my long playa coat by re-attaching some wayward fur trim.

Got my new goggles in the mail today. Photochromatic so I won't have to remember to change lens. Now if I can just remember not to sit on them when I'm not wearing them

Got our shade structure planning and budgeting done, down to the itemized parts list (including all the new stuff). Onwards and upwards!

Surgically attached goggles are very hard to sit on.

Protip: I wear mine like a necklace when not in use. Handy and quick to put on, also won't sit on them that way. May fall over drunk on them, but that is a separate issue.

Try "VitaLyte" It's like $18 a tub, but well worth it.

I set up the tent for the first time and I am in love. Kodiak canvas. It's huge. I staked it out on the top of a hill and it took some decent winds without flinching. Tomorrow I'm working out the shade over it.

Also set up the grill and cooked on it. Worked great. Got it used but it's perfect.

Tested half a bottle of huckleberry vodka.

Only to make sure it is playa safe of course.

Drawingablank, certainly you can't be too careful with mission critical items. They have to be right.

Today I went through my not-quite-for-everyday-wear clothing collection to start making selections for this year's playa wardrobe. Pulled out a few items that need some repair/tailoring, and put a few others aside in the Frankenstein pile to be de-constructed or to be made into new things.

It's a little known fact that March 10th is National Clean Your Playa Boots day.

Bought a pink camo denim skirt at a thrift shop the other day. Instead of looking at me oddly, the girl at the register said it was going to look great on me. Then she asked, "Burner?"
