Lydia Love ~

I will be sure to light a positive energy candle for you in hopes to send some positive energy to you..... Looks like you may need it more than I.

Lydia Love usually writes some awsome shit. I have no idea why, other than she's been hangin with some narley negative cyber critters, she does'nt want to stay above the frey. Ms. Love, you did'nt need to say anything about Mr. K.'s dilemma. It actually was nuff said before you said anything on this thread. But I'm sure you're gonna go at it again so let me pull up the soapbox so you can stand on it and get it outta your system.

I think (or at least I'd like to think) that K aka Tancorix and I consider ourselves friends.

But I really have to say that this
Well, instead of telling me this in private, I was blasted in public...which is something you normally don't do
is really the pot calling the kettle black, and a whole lot of "do as I say, not as I do."

If it's something you normally don't do, then DON'T DO IT.

The end.

Many of us are going to be on the playa or heading that way in 60 days. There are much better things to be doing right now instead of spreading more of the old negativity around. So I wish Badger and Lydia well. They have their own board, their own camp, and may they all be happy in Wheee!!!ville together.

Now wasn't this thread about people trying to get into the event before my splashdown hijacked it? Let's get back on track here.

As would he. Don't assume that his picture. It isn't. Not by 25 years at least.

How about DVD, 'Stine, _tears_, and a few others plan on an outer playa art installation tour on the Playa Cruiser?
Oh yeah, and we gotta get Ring O'Fire. And Stuart? KellY? SimplyJoel?
I'm all over this, "like a duck on a June bug" as we say around here. I'll be camping with the lamplighters (as will our friend _tears_). I'll also be at the Thursday eplaya meet n' greet at BDDC&WB.

I was kinda bummed I missed you too, but at least we'll be camping with the same group out on the playa. I'm sure we'll be great friends before it's over.

Ivy: Pot has met kettle in this case. I know, I know, I know.

I'm simply trying to answer many questions that were asked with a simple post or two so I can get on with things. They jammed up my PM inbox! That's all.

And if you have questions, e-mail me directly. Thanks.

Badger...I love you too. Now leave me alone before I fly out to SF in July for Ranger training and really irritate you.

heh heh ah yes if only we could change physically as easily as our avatars change. This one really is me (on 6/30/2004 anyway) except for the hair.

My 79 yo ma and pa asked me: "Is this the kind of event you would want to take us to?"...conservative and all that. (Answer: No, they would have to take themselves, but feel free to visit my camp. Instead of asking "will we get in" they would be asking "can we get out!") 'Course, they could surprise me and actually enjoy it

You probably wouldn't have the luxury. I usually recuse myself from situations in which I'm familiar (and negatively biased) with someone who I have profound reservations about doing the work.

True enough.

Illustrations, costumes and silly photos are one thing and are certainly NOT construed as actually representing physical attributes of the poster. Actual portrait style photos of other individuals implicitely suggest the opposite - that what you is represents who that person is. Disingenuous is a kind word to describe when someone like Tancorix/Kinetic pastes up a pretty boy image to implicitely suggest that that's what a 40-something year old man looks like. It's just another manifestation of the sock puppet mind set. A mind set that some folks find difficult to extricate themselves out of in spite of words to the contrary.

Spookier than sad really.

Damn spooky.

It actually was nuff said before you said anything on this thread.
it acutally was 'nuff said' before any of it was said AGAIN.

Rule 1, don't be a hypocrite
Rule 2, if you can't follow rule 1 then please spare me your censorship
Rule 3, observe the pattern
Rule 4, have a great time at BM

I'm just trying to understand something here:
Are you trying not to be a hypocrite by following rule #1 and observing the pattern by repeating nuff said for the 3rd time or are you just intersted in having a good time at BM?

Nuff said for the 4th and hopefully final time.

I have no doubt ring! It will be great!.

I think i may FINALLY have a ride to burning man. Getting one back was easy but getting one there wasnt so easy. I hooked up with another theme camp i almost stayed at last year and they offered me a space. YAY.

================
DVD ~ you were not the only one who didnt know my age, i have gotten 4 other PMs from people who couldnt believe it....

and then someone who has a burning man.com e-mail address ( not sure who it was ) e-mailed me telling me i HAVE to have someone 21+ to get into the gates of burning man..... hm they most not have been paying attention to ANYTHING i wrote besides my age.. go figure lol.

Such a lively little thread yay!
==================
We just had a talk on one of the many BM lists i am involved in about Burning Man being NO NUDITY in 2005. Not to spread rumors of course, but i was just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on the matter. Supposidly because of the uprise of children... I personally think it would be horrible to have to walk around with clothing on at Burning Man, if people do not want there children to see the nudity, leave them at home.

And while on this, about the "guards" outside sex camps. I think its a good idea, however, are they attempting to just keep out the CHILDREN or us teenagers too, because i know i do not look like a teenager and we all tend to look alike out there on the playa anyway, are they going to ID people! Grrr Sorry just a little rant lol.

Love you all,

Oh wow Tears you should totally start your own new thread on this, it would be sure to be a hit.

My opinion...Humans need to accept and rejoice in being human and that includes especially the pure naked physical being itself in order to grow as a species. No nudity=no Tiahaar!

If you noice, i stated that is would possibly not be true.

But why not spark up some conversation anyway?

Its no harm in seeing how people would FEEL about it if it WAS true.

That's BULLSHIT Tears.

I'm calling you on it.

You've already started a thread that's inflaming what's already an fairly ugly situation on some of the regionals lists. For no other reason than my position here as a regular contributing schmo I'm stating publically that what you did was wrong.

Totally wrong.

""Disingenuous is a kind word to describe when someone like Tancorix/Kinetic pastes up a pretty boy image to implicitely suggest that that's what a 40-something year old man looks like""

Badger I have a reality check for you.
First off, don't be using the term sock puppet around me when you are guilty of the same. Do you not have the Badger and Miss Isotopia ID's speaking with the same voice? Pot, meet kettle.

Next, I turn 34 in 10 days. I'm not 40. Have you walked by any mirrors lately? Your subconscious must be trying to tell you something after making a comment like that.

An avatar is just a picture, it can be serious, whimsical, it's whatever I want it to be. Last time I checked you were not the arbitrator for proper avatar usage on the eplaya. But to shut you up I changed it to a cute looking cow. I wonder if you will find something objectionable about that?

And you honestly need to do something about your high level of stress. Have you considered taking yoga classes, or some meditation courses? I'll gladly chip in for air tix so you can visit PHB's spa....maybe a massage and some other treatment will do you good. You obviously need something, your posts have me feeling like your going to go off the deep end. It's kinda scary to see so much tension! Relax, take a deep breath, turn off the PC, go find something else to do. It's really good to do that!

Thanks for sharing your re-hashed, renting of the cloth I'm-still-sore-someone's-called-me-on-my-shit spiel. I think you basically said the same thing last time you were called on your cyclic, calculable meltdown.

And the time before that.

No secret here among the informed. Badger = Isotopia:: Isotopia = Badger
Next, I turn 34 in 10 days. I'm not 40.

Ouch! I guess I can understand how you'd be upset at my honestly mistaking you for 40-something. That's gotta hurt.
