Wut? Before the closure order? Methinks not.

Will likely be a few days after the 31st. I'm thinking Wednesday.

I'm crushed! Shattered!

So if there is no closure yet, we could drive out there this weekend and paint it red.

Wouldn't it be ironic if they drove the spike & water started gushing up.

I still wonder how low the water table is, and if there might be localized "liquifaction" from vehicles and other vibrations? Mud volcanoes anyone?

With all the subwoofers out there, might not be too far fetched.

on site reports are super crumbly soft surface, with no real hard pack below.
Very bad dust conditions, and will worsen as people get there.
very flat, but very soft.

I was almost tempted to bring my folding trike which has skinny tires. I guess that will have to stay home again.

I like the fact that its hot during the day. It always disappoints me a little if we don't hit at least 100. Sounds like a good year for radlers (Beer & lemonade not Playa snakes).

So are we talking about a 30 degree temp difference between the highs & lows? That always makes packing fun.
