Picked up a 12'x15' canvas dropcloth for the monkeyhut floor and several bags each of zipties and bungee cords.
Replaced the sprocket on my trike and drove in circles in the basement a few times. Chain doesnt hang up now.
So the theme this year is like a giant camp out in the desert? With people bringing lots of shit from all over? uh.. -Marscrumbs

Received the 100 led battery operated light string. Not as bright as I expected but then again it won't blind me at night either.
My refreshing shower, Fresh Bath , also arrived. 75 days and the gate opens.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

New big-ass deep cycle battery for Land Yacht's "house" electric system and new starting battery for the engine. New horn.
Some new fuel injectors. New plugs. (It's running like shit... gotta sort out... )
Shit is it really only ten weeks? I'm not ready!!!!

Are we using the term Land Yacht generically or do you mean the Airstream?

I'm talking about my mutant vehicle, the one in my avatar pic.
It does have a set of "Land Yacht" emblems from an old Airstream though :)

Possibly, it sat in a wet climate since 2008. I had to put fresh gas in to even get it started, but I didn't put much in - I'll fill it and see if it gets better.

Got my 16x24 Silver Tarp delivered today. I think it was Figgy who posted the link. THANK YOU!!!! I got a great deal. Now I have all the pieces to my shade structure and I can do a test build.

But first....It's off to Yosemite for some camping fun. "Honey, um...we gotta go to Yosemite for 3 nights to test the trailer for Burning man...OK?" Seems like a fun way to test all my systems and gear.

Minor items but still important. 48 pack of Costco AA batteries and clay for making gifting pendants.

Bought a box of Mountain House Premium Meal Assortment from Costco - 3 Chicken Teriyaki, 2 Beef Stew, 3 Beef Stroganoff and 2 Lasagna with Meat Sauce. Going freeze dried this year. Less than $5 per meal and they don't have to be kept cold in the cooler. Also received the camera I ordered that will be used strictly for Burning Man. Now if only my ticket would show up :D

Image Got a box of these. They come packaged flat, which will be easy to carry, and keep clean on the inside. I've used a bandana, but in a long storm, that gets pretty saturated. It'll be easy to just keep one of these handy. I also got a set of lab, "dust goggles" with a good foam seal around the face... but the glasses are not fixed to the seal. wtf? I guess the foam is just for comfort. how is that going to keep dust out? wondering if a little silicone or goop will be advised, it's going to make them look messed up.

Trip to Home Depot as soon as the mailman arrives with my ticket :D (according to the tracking number) Building the monkey hut shade structure and tweaking a shower design. Trying to figure out how to build the shower into the end of the monkey hut possibly.
