The downtown Gerlach webcam shows snow currently on the ground in town. The latest winter storm front is approaching Reno (as of 1 PM Pacific time Feb. 28th) Does anybody have any idea about current snow depth on what will become Black Rock City? Please keep us updated with the snowfall out there as winter goes on.

We've been pretty dry (compared to Reno) up until this last system, though there's been a good bit of ice/water in the center of the playa all season. Today, there has been more snow up towards the playa than in Gerlach. I'll try to grab some photos in the next day or two.
