Iowa Guy Burner Express Bag Question

Hey!!

I'm flying to Reno then riding in with someone. I'm taking the Burner Express out to Reno. I bought my Express ticket already with the 2 standard allowed bags. I realized after the fact that I will be flying with 2 checked bags plus a standard roll aboard and a personal item. That puts me needing to put 3 bags under the bus and the personal item as my carry on.

Is there a way to add an extra bag to my Burner Express ticket? Can you purchase the extra bag add-on at the station or somewhere else on the playa?

Alternatively, is there a simple way to locate someone during the event who is from Iowa and might be able to drive a bag home for me? I tried the Iowa Burners FB page and was never accepted into the group.

Yes, $40 each way to double the luggage.

For travel between Reno and BRC you have the option to pay a $40 fee each way to bring an additional two pieces of luggage (for a total of four pieces of luggage and one carry-on item) no larger than 62 linear inches each or weighing more than 50lbs.

They do close the office on the 16th so hustle up.
