Step One: Find your regional contact and try to get to local burn events in your area. Local burns rock, btw.

Are you saying you want folks to ride with you on the way (from where?) or do you want assurance you'll have friends on the playa?

We're all friendly, well at some time or another. You may have just acquired an entirely new set of family members.

The link for adding profile or avatar pics is up at the top of every page. Click on Profile, scroll down and you'll see the option to upload an 80x80 image down there. Click browse, link to the folder where the image is and off ya go.

I have to edit my pitures down to size, but I couldn't for the world explain how, expecially since I have a strange POS computer.

Hey, you're not strange for wanting to go to Burning Man, and having your BIL along could be a nice support system.

Don't worry, I've been repeatedly and I'm still not 100% certain I get it either.

If you have a photo editing software, load your photos into it then look for the "EDIT" pull down window and click on "IMAGE SIZE" and play with the DPI settings (75 dpi is enough for a computer screen) and "CROP" the image to get rid of unwanted stuff until it is small enough...
