Going Alone

Post by careacter » Wed Jan 11, 2006 3:29 pm

I am shy and thinking of going alone. crying. yelling and asking god to forgive me. Will I die?

When I start shaking from stress I really need really need a friend for a few hours.

I will never make it. I am already dead.

Sylvie! Am I crazy in the head?

In the desert, a cruel wind keens.

We all shall die alone.

Jump into the unknown without fear.

I didn't go alone my first time, but have soloed ever since then...If it'd help to have a "base", somewhere in BRC to call home, then contact some folks at one of the many lovely theme camps or villages. I met some lovely people that way.

Oh, do it!!!

Because of weird circumstances, I ended up going alone the first time I went, and it was the most amazing thing I've ever done. I recommend going alone to everyone the first time. Wandering around the first night totally alone was unbelievable, and like walking through my most fantastic beautiful dreams. You'll come to realize that at Burning Man, you're never really alone, and there's nothing to fear. I made some of my best friends in the world that way, and experienced more than I might have in a group.
