It's the weather

Post by phil » Wed Aug 22, 2007 1:56 pm

Here's an email from a guy who arrived during the night on August 20, email sent on the 21st:
Got in last night, the weather was perfect. Low wind, no dust whatsoever. The temp was perect all night long, ladies night was last night this year and it was an awesome party!
Be prepared for the worst, but keep in mind the weather changes.

Claiming to be current conditions at BRC World Headquarters in Gerlach:

At the time I looked, wind was 4MPH, and it had not rained all day.

It's from the mini weather station hanging up behind the Gerlach office. Your howling whiteout may vary.

the weather page from BRC has a live webcam on downtown Gerlach, by the way, so you can check the traffic out along with the weather.
