Take it to camp Feces-on-Paper, a do it yourself art camp that is traditionally located right next to first camp.unjonharley wrote:If I use a Lug-a-lu, how do I dispose of the crap..

You can ask any DPW volunteers driving by your camp in thier dune buggys to dispose of it also.
They love lending a helping hand, just ask em' nicely...they'll do it.
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

where, despite their typo, they claim this double-bag, sealable container is approved for landfill disposal of human waste. It says it contains 32 ounces, allowing for multiple use, but I'd suggest using a bucket for liquid waste and taking it to the portapotties and pouring it in, then using the wag bag for solid waste, if you can't make it to the portapotties.
It says the wag bag is designed to be used in camping or RV toilets if dry, so I'll assume they can be used in the bucket with a commode seat on it.

Thanks phil, The Lug-a-lu is a seat that fits a 5 gal. bucket with a plastic seat and lid.. A bag go's inside the bucket.. I have ceder saw dust from my table saw to dry the poo and make it solid.. The whole question was how to get rid of the stuff..phil wrote:unjon, if you're still reading this, check here

In my case it will be dumped into the Capt.GDI's boat.. He being a fine common sewer of the fare..
Also the boat will be renamed "the lug-a-lu..
For other use I will ask the refuse people if it's a go on dumping my shit.. In this county it's burned..
I have found a washing machine soap jug works for pee and dump..
It's easy to handel/hold and a odd shape so wont be confused with anyother jug in the night..

Last year was my first burn and I camped in tents with experienced burners. Due to some GI issues, I sorta needed to have my own potty at my disposal. I used one of these very things.
What I used was deodorant kitty litter! You can then scoop out the solid waste into small bags that seal (they make small diaper bags for such purposes) . I cleaned it once a day, other than that the lugable loo seals shut so there was no smell whatsoever.
The kitty litter didn't have a strong scent...made the tent smell very faintly of fabric softener or something.
