Question for the DPW

I suppose about now, yall are marking out center camp and all the streets. When you drive over the roads, do you also use water trucks? Or is that just during the event? My buddy returned from the playa a couple weeks ago and said the playa was real soft. We thought watering would be a good idea before the event..just werent sure if yall did that.

Was out there this weekend -- they have a few water trucks running on the main entry road, the vendor entry from the 12-mile, and streets around Center Camp, and I'm sure they'll start on the perimeter road, Esplanade, and other streets as the early entry dates approach. Trucks are pumping out of the Fly Ranch reservoirs. Shirley, it will be as effective as ever.
