Heat Acclimatization

A couple of interesting links:

The upshot is that if you exercise in hot weather for about two weeks, then you will become acclimatized to hot weather. In other words, your body will get used to the heat.

I am guessing that if you do moderate exercise - or just sitting - in a sauna daily for the two weeks before hitting the desert will help your comfort level when you get out there. Couldn't hurt.

On the way to the playa roll up your windows and turn the heater all the way up. You will be amazed at how refreshing it will feel when you get to Black Rock City.
