Me too... can't get anything but errors on both the 165 and 185 levels. I can't afford the 185... but, well, shit, an extra $20 to go home...

I'm getting closer though ... right to the checkout, but no success yet. Here, have some beers while we wait ~

I wonder if anyone has got tix yet or if the system is just screwed up and nobody is fixing it yet ?? Hmmm.

We've gotten all the way to the checkout and the separate "processing" box opening up (the one that says it will disappear in 2-5 seconds) but then it bugs out . . .

Good question. Hopefully if someone is successful, they'll report back. I will ~ Know Matter What ~ that is, if I don't slump over to sleep over my keyboard.

I'll try to report back, but if this is going to take another hour (been going for an hour already now) to buy tickets, will probably sleep instead.

I'm slowly getting closer (that is further in the process). I think as traffic slows down, the process will speed up. I'm trying for the $185.00 tix but not convinced that makes a difference.

Several of my local crew (San Diego) have been successful... I'm still trying... so I know it *can* work.

Now, will it?

I'm getting as far as the secure checkout where the payment info is entered. When I click continue it times out. Soemtimes I can go back and my info is still there, sometimes it's gone. Like someone else wondered, I'm wondering if I'm getting debited each time? At least I'll potentially have lots of tickets for my campmates ~

Ah, it's part of the adventure. Afterall, the journey can be just as exciting as the destination, I think.

Ticket buying secret

Postby Plaid » Mon Mar 01, 2004 2:14 am

If you are on a PC, use netscape. I don't know why... I've been trying on IE for 2 hours... but in a last-chance try before I gave up and went to bed, I tried netscape. It gives you error messages instead of error pages, and makes it easier to hit submit over and over... I got in on my third try, and went all the way.

DONE!

F*cking damn unprepared server grumble grumble.
