but to the best of my ability, i cannot discern this without asking outright: are there any "nest" or "Church of All Worlds" theme camps a la Heinlien's "Stranger in a Strange Land"?

Ever?

Can't you call yourself "Church of All Worlds UK"?

i'm not sure there actually has been.

there's a non-burning man church of all worlds: http://www.caw.org/

there have been a number of theme camps that come close, mixing water and spirituality (most notable, i think, was the phlegmatics section of opera camp in '98), but i don't think any of them actually referenced the book.

disclaimer - i didn't bother searching - i'm just going on memory here, which is both fallible and not properly frontloaded anyways.

even if it has been done, there's no reason you can't do it again.

good luck.

It's not "officially" themed around Stranger in a Strnage Land, but I know the Pyramid Scheme (www.water-brother.com) is highly influenced by it.
