I'm having lunch today with my virgin friend who's coming with this year. Gonna make sure he's at least thinking about getting prepped.

Just bought more led red blinkies for my bike. Also, a Monkey Lectrics wheel light. Makes patterns in the spokes as you ride. Can't have yer bike too lit up. Buying pieces and parts for my solar array that will power the bar. Still have questions on that, though. And not pining away my time wishing it were time. Too much to do. I'm savoring my expectation.

Debating about what color to dye my knee high socks.

I'm just trying to stockpile enough money to get the truck and trailer that carries everything in proper shape and have enough left for $900 worth of gas.

We hit the 6-months-until Shambhala mark on the 4th. When I realized that, it dawned upon me that it meant just under 7 months until Burning Man.

But 200 days, eh? (oh yeah, the Canadian said eh.) There's a real solid number on it. :) How exciting!

I'll continue to plan for our event like a mad-woman, and that'll really pass the time. I'm in the middle customizing our new volunteer management system, which is pretty cool. :)

Other than that, enjoying the challenges that are part of being a "virgin" Burner, with a crew of "virgins". Learning a lot, and preparing as much as I can for this epic adventure.

I was gonna' ask what kind of truck sucks up that much fuel. Then I remebered it's probably one that gets the same mileage as mine. I just don't have as far to go. Good luck, Captain. And they say the ticket price is high...

Same here except $500 in diesel fuel.

Hopefully whatever employment I find will grant me the time off for the burn. Otherwise it will be the weekends for me. Early entry for the Potty Project and then catching the man and temple burn. Guess I will have to keep my motorcycle in case that is an eventuality.

Just ordered lino blocks for Ranger Genius's 2011 woodblock.

Yep, 2011.

I started my booze for Golden Cafe stockpile months ago, but my housesitter cracked open a couple bottles. Sheesh.

Costumes? We have three closets full to the brim. I'm sewing muumuus for Hawaii, guess I could wear them to the burn too.

Rhoades car needs fine tuning, as do the other bikes, will work on that when it warms up. Fix up the single so short-legged me can ride it.

Mostly I need to start painting and working in wayward art, plus adoption cards. Perhaps a guest book instead.

Maybe figure out the best way to wire the crystal chandelier with solar LEDs.

We're planning a "roadtrip" to Utah in late June, early July so thats what I'm savin for right now.
Today I just sank $300 in the truck I take to BM for a new heater core and I found out I need to replace the serpintine belt tensioner pully. :( Thats gotta be replaced before I take that truck out there.
This year I'm hoping to meet up with someone from work and he usually gets his tickets a month before from the Melting Pot so that gives me a few months to get ready.
