idiot proofing
idiot proofing
So I got the idea from a stray thought I had. Last year was my first year and I left my back pack places an uncomfortable amount of times. Luckily each time I realized by pack was gone i retraced my steps and there it was.
Well I remember hearing about this theft prevention system I think if you get too far from your cell phone or something like that, this thing on your key ring starts beeping or vibrating.
I've tried looking for this on google but unless you know the name or a short description its a aggravating waste of time. If you know what im talking about or if you have heard of something like this for a back pack let me know.
If you have any other ideas about idiot proofing the burning man experience (and your not a smart ass) hit me up. i could probably use more ideas.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Maybe I'm too simple minded. It's the music Playor to blame if the music is too loud. If the volume harshes a neighbor's mellow, then it should be limited to the confines of their own camp. Easier said than done, I know,,,, we could not even consider listening to our own music over half the time due to our neighbors.

They make a shocker too, if the music is too loud for you to hear the *beep* it 'shocks' you.

It's called zomm. (www.zomm.com) It will only work with bluetooth devices. And if your cell signal breaks, as in if your phone is turned off or drops a signal deep playa, the alarm goes off. I have one. It works quite well but I've had to let my co-workers know how to turn it off becuase I'm always heading off at work to a meeting with my cell phone and leaving my car keys behind. Doh!
You're better off looking into one of the aforementioned devices.
We build baskets on our bikes that will fit our backpacks and then locks so they don't wander off without us.
