Great motel in Reno?

Postby BettySaidWot » Tue Jul 19, 2011 1:54 pm

Sadface! The motor lodge behind The Atlantis is gone. I just called to book a few nights and was told they paved paradise and put up a parking lot. Any suggestions for a cheap few nights before and after the Burn? We love Reno and always have lots to do before and after the event. And part of the fun is staying at the motel! We loved the Atlantis motor lodge because it was cheapish, you could use all the amenities inside the fancy resort, you could park right in front of your door, there were amazing ice machines close to all the units and it was close to the laundry mat and the stores we visited. We're just looking for something clean, sane, and cheapish where we can park the camper van nearby (so we can see it). Holla!

Thanks Lucky - the Sands seems appropriate. Is there a Burner discount code?

I'm sure Doc Pyro will be chiming in, in 3...2...1...

He organized a group discount this year at the Sands, and has extra slots available. I want to say $65 or something?

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.
