First hand reports a few weeks old that it's the best that anyone has seen in years and years..

I was out there a month ago and there was still a lake on the middle of the playa. Reports are that it is now dry. The playa should be in excellent shape this year. I'll be out there after the first to see the beginnings of the city and post what I see then.

Foxfur, Helga and EspressoDude are going camping out there tonight or tomorrow night. I'm sure they'll tell us all about it. =)

oh , I can just hear the report:

dang, it's abrasive on the knees..........yeah, it tasted funny........but, you can write your name in it, "no hands".......just like snow!!
