list for overseas burners

I'm a first time burner and to make matters worst I'm coming from the UK but then flying to Chile for 2 weeks before going home.
This limits the amount of stuff I will be able to bring. I've ruled out the art project for this year but what about the other stuff like a shade structer or shower, will people be ok if I use there's (I'm not a moocher and have no intentions of becoming one). I've rented a car so I'm ok for transport and hauling my food and water and other small and semi-small stuff like that. So what I really need is a list of what to bring and what people will let me share.
