Avoid the areas downwind of a Johnny On the Spot truck while they are cleaning a bank of porta-potties. Even if it means going an entire two blocks out of your way.

The sheer number of notes in the aroma is overwhelming for mortals.

Yes, and don't camp within 200ft downwind or 100ft upwind of the potties. Aroma & doors banging all night.

Don't use same jugs as orange juice/lemonade/light color mixers come in for pee jugs.

New socks! For those who wear footwear anyway. Fresh new socks are just that little bit softer & fluffier than the old ones. You will definitely notice the difference on those long playa treks...

Vodka can be used as an emergency disinfectant for a wound. Not that I'd waste good vodka that way, only the cheap stuff.

If you are experiencing gas leaks in your fittings, you might need a new gasket or O-ring.

If you want to get a pet Jackrabbit on the playa, hide behind a tree and make sounds like a carrot.

heard somewhere a person can wash out / clean a wound with their own pee. I would think aiming might be difficult depending on where the wound is.

(2) 151 works better than Vodka for this. But not Everclear. Remember this when SHTF.

Better to put hot iron to your flesh, and save the alcohol for drinking. In fact, you might want to drink the alcohol first.

Well the leeches I have handled did not seem to find urine useful.

I personally have found other common substances quite useful when wrangling leeches. Keep out? Vaseline. Let go? Alcohol. Latch on? Blood. Very simple critters to work with.

Urine might be useful for persuading leeches to do whatever, but, urine is quite variable chemically, so it would be hard to predict the effect (if any).

I would be very surprised to find leeches on the playa.

And I generally do put things in wounds that I would not put in my eye, beginning always with soap. :P

Good point about soap.

Urine and tobacco is supposed to make them let go, and help treat.
May not be good advice with other alternatives.
