Massage oil recommendations for dusty Playa people

Post by kpsf1964 » Thu Aug 21, 2014 3:30 pm

I found a massage chair on the street a few years back and we've brought it out for giggles the last few years.

While everyone enjoys using it, we always forget to bring oil and we end up just using skin lotion, which is nice but not ideal.

Any recommendations for oils that work well in dry, dusty conditions if you're trying to give someone a back rub?

Yours in crime, et cetera,

Wonder

Always ask first. Baby powder has perfume agents that are to some allergic. When I worked, we used a pint of Nievea cream to a gallon of mineral oil. Mineral oil is not absorbed much into the skin and the cream lotion has a nice scent that most like. We poured half a new full jug into the empty one, then added half a pint bottle of cream to each jug. Or use just plain mineral oil. I do not use baby oil as it smells like a nursery, but if they like that...go for it. Best to be shielded from the wind and dust, but whatch ya gonna do? Sheets and towels are nice. Did everyone remember their towel?

Oh thank you - none of us would have thought about allergies!
