Adult shanagins on the playa

We have been reading several threads\posts about a "red light" district, and a "free love dome"
Can you shed some light on the adult nature of burning man?
Do these camps sit at the same rough addresses year after year?
Bianca's was mentioned once, I dont know what that is.....

We are open to life, aint that the right way? Shit happens!

There are many "adult" places in BRC. Some are obvious Orgy Dome for example. One of my favorites is Spanky's Wine bar. I'd say get to BRC, look in your guidebook/map go meet folks. Once you're talking to the right people you'll see a very interesting part of BRC.

BRC is a city filled with camps catering to nearly every interest. While there was a (feeble) effort years ago by a group of camps (not Burning Man or the placement team) to concentrate things into one district, it didn't really work - fun of an adult nature takes place all over town.

In personal experience, self-reliance is pretty important here. If you need something to happen at Burning Man, arrange it and bring whatever/whomever you need before you go there.

This is more or less what we we thought as well.

As things go on their own marry way, unplanned, unscripted with general open minded people anything can happen anywhere any time.

We were more curious about specific sections of the landscape that were designed for this type of stuff. If that even existed.
But I guess as adults go, discretion where its needed, shannagins elsewhere.

LionsNzebras, Gaminwench's list is a great start. ATTOL is a new name to me, but I've heard of the others for years. You can use their names as search terms here and find out more about them:

Or use keywords in the "Find Camp" box. For example, if you were to search for "Bacon", you would find 9 results even if Bacon only appeared in the camp description.

Camps addresses may change from year to year, and won't be known 'til July. If I were you, I'd start a personal list of places that sound interesting and then google them in 2015, or search the 2015 Theme Camps page when it opens in July and add the addresses later. You might even join one of these camps in the Spring--if you see one that looks good and have skills to offer, send them an email in a few months. Remember to emphasize what you have to bring to the table. Or start a camp--something official and ask for placement, or informal with no placement but a nice sign and a bar or classes or something.

When you arrive at the event pick up a copy of the What/When/Where Guide and look for events with the keyhole symbol--these are adult oriented. The 9 o'clock side of the city is considered the Red Light district, but as someone else has already mentioned, it's kind of nebulous.

You're allowed to be nude virtually anywhere in public, provided you have a towel to sit on.

Public sex is illegal and will get you cited/fined/etc if law enforcement sees it. Adult oriented camps are well-shielded visually for this reason.

(GaminWench MAY, it is rumored, be a key contributor to on-playa mischief. This of course, is merely heresay. Like so many others, its hard to tell if/when/where mischief will find you, and whether you will survive the experience. But if you come with an open mind and heart, and just let the playa work its magic, there is much mischief, adult and otherwise, that will find you. Just sayin'!).

One thing I found was to be sure and attend an adult themed camp event or three.

Once there, even if it's for a discussion on sex toys or yoga positions you'll quickly find out through talk where and when to be for events and gatherings.
A lot of stuff is word of mouth and even mores so just spontaneous. The trick is to be at the right place and time when something is most likely to be going on or starting.

And who knows, it might be you two's shenanigans that get a party started late some dusty night in the right time and place!

The info on camps is good,I did not realize that there were camp sections here, We have been digging a lot more into the forms.
More information here than people realize I think, or its just two daunting to dig through.

Spontaneity is what its all about. Makes for the best experiences all around.

If you want to make searching eplaya easier, use Google instead of the built in search function. Preface your search with the word "eplaya" (without the quotes) and then type in what you're searching for.

i was thinking of doing a talk on "household objects and there uses in sexual activity" something along the lines of a "show and tell" kind of theme, with people bringing things along they like using or think may fun but don't have the imagination. not sure where though.

I also keep meaning to do something based on radio 4's book at bedtime, "Naughty book at bedtime, i am told an English accent is good for this sort of shenanigans. someone (no names to protect the innocent) suggested i even write the stories myself. At the moment its just a thought,but if DPB's plans for next year come off i will have the perfect location.

howeer if i dont write the story myself (i've only got a year guys - give me time) any suggestions for good books? i'll start

The sleeping beauty trilogy. for those that haven't read it, it starts just before the prince wakes the princess and her instructions that follow. though i did get bored by chapter 9 it does start well.
